represents the owners of dozens of agriculture and wildlife
exempted properties in Williamson County that are being unfairly
taxed on the one-acre home site portion of their land. Our

Williamson County Appraisal District is
appraising these home sites at anywhere from $25,000 to $60,000,
when the rest of the land is valued at only $4,000 - $6,000
per acre. This illegal practice affects more than 4,000 rural
Williamson County landowners, all of who are eligible to join
the protest. Landowners must act within 30 days of receiving
their 2006 Estimate of Appraised Value. It costs only $100
to join the protest and it could save many hundreds of dollars
per year for each landowner.
